Meeting in Hubei, Seeking Common Development | A Delegation from WAEPA/PKUAAHB Visits JSH for Inspection and Exchange

In September, the golden autumn brings ripening fruits. To promote school-enterprise integration, on September 11, 2024, Liu Meng, President of the Wuhan Alumni Economic Promotion Association (WAEPA) and Peking University Alumni Association in Hubei (PKUAAHB), and Ye Qing, Chief Advisor of WAEPA and former Deputy Director of Hubei Provincial Bureau of Statistics, led a delegation to visit the JSH Wuhan New Energy Industrial Base, where HNAC Technology Vice President and JSH Chairman Huang Jianbo warmly welcomed them.

At the symposium, Huang Jianbo introduced the development process, business system, and market layout of JSH in detail. He said that JSH has been in the field of high-end new energy equipment for 30 years, and under the deep cooperation of its parent company HNAC Technology (300490.SZ), it now has a global layout with one operation center (Shenzhen), two manufacturing bases (Wuhan and Changsha) and one European office. JSH has consistently pursued its vision of becoming a leading enterprise in lithium battery automation and intelligent manufacturing. Through measures such as improved management, product innovation, cost reduction, and efficiency improvement, it has become the benchmark in the lithium battery equipment industry.

Huang Jianbo also conveyed his hope to uphold the university's spirit as a Peking University graduate and utilize WAEPA/PKUAAHB for deeper alumni exchanges in Hubei and new paths for development.

Liu Meng expressed his gratitude for JSH's warm reception and highly praised JSH's achievements in market expansion and product innovation. He introduced that the WAEPA is the first alumni economic promotion association in China, approved by the Wuhan Civil Affairs Bureau and supervised by the Wuhan Talent Work Bureau, the only legally registered alumni association of colleges and universities in Hubei, with nearly 100 alumni associations, more than 1,000 members, and over 10,000 alumni.

At present, "university-enterprise cooperation" is a new path for enterprises to achieve high-quality development. Liu Meng encouraged alumni to share resources and achieve mutually beneficial win-win results actively. Meanwhile, Hubei, as a strong province in China's new energy industry, has many new energy enterprise alumni associations as members of the WAEPA/PKUAAHB, which are well aligned with JSH's core business segments. He looks forward to exploring various forms of cooperation with JSH to create new growth drivers.

This event is the 29th visit activity of WAEPA, which has made a meaningful attempt in terms of scale and quality. Every visit is a lesson, a thought collision, and a business exchange, all of which are interpreting the value of the alumni economic platform. Liu Meng gave a speech with three theme words of "meeting", "change", and "resilience". He eloquently stated the "field" theory of the event, expanding information and guiding participants towards the right direction, searching for resilient psychology and behavior in the current special circumstances, and cultivating good character traits.

Ye Qing shared the latest news and policy interpretations, as well as insights into the current situation, from various perspectives such as "new quality productivity" and "Hubei Science and Technology Innovation Supply Chain Skynet Platform". He believed that 2024 would mark the beginning of a new cycle of China's development, and he emphasized the importance of the alumni economy, encouraging alumni to make good use of the "Skynet Platform" to achieve a two-way convergence of industrial needs and scientific and technological innovation, seizing the opportunities of the times and accelerating the development of new quality productive forces.

Then, the guests visited the production workshop to see JSH's industry-leading new products, including the HVDC capacity integrated machine (water-cooling), 4680 cylinder hydrothermal formation machine, and large-cavity baking furnace and expressed admiration for JSH's technological breakthroughs and large-scale production capabilities.

This exchange deepened the mutual understanding between JSH and the outstanding alumni of various universities in Hubei. In the future, members of WAEPA/PKUAAHB will enhance trust and collaborate to explore new opportunities in Hubei.
